Vella is a wood-aluminum system designed for the construction of facades and conservatories.
The load-bearing structure consists of wooden posts with a thickness of 50, 60, or 80 mm and a depth determined based on structural calculations. The system consists of a wide range of aluminum profiles, gaskets, and insulators. It ensures secure glass mounting, exceptional airtightness, high thermal performance, and provides excellent protection for the wood.
The mullions and transoms of the Vella system are connected using RICON fasteners, which allow for the transfer of loads resulting from the weight of the glass up to 550 kg. All fasteners are installed in a manner invisible to the user. Furthermore, they are removable, which allows for pre-assembly.
